As a new(ish) homeowner, I’m so obsessed with interior design. So, I’m always browsing the internet for the latest trends and pieces to always keep my home welcoming.
My latest project is my upstairs hallway. Right now there is nothing on the wall and I’m not the type to have completely empty walls. I didn’t want to overfill but I wanted something that would just stand out.

Unlike my other projects, I knew exactly the type of artwork I wanted in that spot, a pet portrait. Last year my husband and I adopted a Shepard/Border Collie from a rescue center. His name is Rocky and he’s so cute. Everyone tells us that he could be a model so we were like, “Why not get a pet portrait… he looks that good!”
So my search began and I was determined. That’s when I came across Iconic Paw. What I loved about them was the variety of pet portraits and styles they offered! They also offer portraits of pets and their owners, hoomans as they call it. Honestly, if you just want one of yourself (hooman), they can make it happen. That's what our director Felicia did. She chose to become a queen. Look at how awesome it came out! Yes, she does have this hanging in her home for everyone to see.

How it works
It’s super easy to get started.
1. Pick your template
Browse their website for the style of pet portrait that you’re interested in. Their styles range from super hero’s, kings and queens, clowns, wizards, Vikings, and my favorite the modern styles. For hoomans they offer similar templates as well. I chose to go for a modern style for my boy Rocky.
2. Upload Image
Upload one image per person/hooman that is going to be in the final canvas. They'll let you know if the picture is good to proceed. This is the picture I chose.

3. Framing & Size
There are two framing options for your Pet or Hooman Portrait; Canvas or Framed Canvas. Then choose between the four sizes they have to offer, 8" x 10", 12" x 18", 16" x 24" or 24" x 32". I ended up going with the framed 16" x 24" canvas.
4. Check Out & Wait For Your Portrait
Make sure to use our discount code, AMBASSADOR, to receive 20% off the total price of your order. Now you wait! Iconic Paw kept me in the loop during the entire process. I got an email when my order was placed, processed, shipped, and delivered. They offer digital only options and can show you a final proof if you'd like before it gets shipped. Just shoot their customer service an email and they'll be able to help you right away.
My Pet Portrait

I was so excited when I received my Pet Portrait in the mail and so was Rocky! They did a great job is securing the package to make sure it didn't come damaged. It was double wrapped!
Ok, now it's time to show you my Pet Portrait.

That sounds like such a fun project, and I really like your approach of keeping things balanced instead of overcrowding the space. An upstairs hallway often gets overlooked, but it’s actually a perfect spot to create something visually appealing without going overboard. I think focusing on one standout feature, like a statement art piece, a gallery wall with a consistent theme, or even textured wall décor, can really bring personality to the area while still keeping it clean and uncluttered. zyrtec for dogs dosage chart
What a great article! My dog always gets nervous during thunderstorms, and I used to panic too, which only made things worse. Acting normal and giving them gentle belly rubs truly helps calm them down. The idea of using a dryer sheet to reduce static is something I’ll definitely try next time. Thanks for sharing these practical tips that make stormy nights much easier for both pets and their owners.แบบการ์ดแต่งงาน
I totally agree that Portland’s unique weather gives it such a peaceful, natural vibe. The fact that there are dog-friendly outdoor attractions makes it even more appealing for pet owners like me. Traveling with pets can be stressful when you don’t know where they’re welcome, so it’s refreshing to find a city that embraces them. Your post really highlights Portland as a perfect destination for dog lovers who enjoy nature! dog breed weimaraner
This is such an insightful post! Pets definitely sense storms differently than humans, and I’ve noticed my dog starts pacing long before the first raindrop falls. It’s really helpful to learn that hiding, panting, or even digging are normal signs of stress. I think more pet owners need to know these are natural responses and not misbehavior.
